The History of The Oneholer

Started by Thresher & Glenny in 1954, The Oneholer celebrates golfing legends with exclusive awards and a global register.
One shot. One hole. One unforgettable moment. Now it’s time to make it official.
At The Oneholer, formerly Thresher & Glenny, we’ve been celebrating Hole-in-One legends since 1954. The idea was first launched by the iconic London tailors, Thresher & Glenny. It all started with a bath-time brainwave and a tie that became a global golfing tradition.
Whether you nailed it in competition or casual play, if your club verifies it, you’re in.
Join our Worldwide Register of Hole-in-One Golfers and claim your exclusive Oneholer Award or King Oneholer Award (for two or more!).
Golfers of all ages and skill levels have made the shot - from juniors to nonagenarians, in sunshine or sideways rain. Some wait a lifetime. Others do it after two lessons. A few even make a habit of it!
I haven’t scored one yet (still dodging bunkers and lakes!), but I know how magical it is. That’s why I’m proud to keep this tradition alive, honouring the legacy of Thresher & Glenny and celebrating golfers around the world.
Got the shot?
Let’s celebrate your moment in style.
