Craftsmanship Meets Tradition: The Making of Our Woven Jacquard Captain and Past Captain Golfer Ties

In the world of fine clothing, few places embody elegance quite like Italy.  Renowned for its impeccable style and craftsmanship. It’s here, at a distinguished Italian mill that has been weaving ties for nearly a century, that our trademarked Captain and Past Captain ties are brought to life.

The journey begins with our intricate Captain Golfer and Past Captain Golfer design, carefully crafted using Textile CAD technology. Once perfected, it’s sent to Jacquard automatic looms, where every thread is woven with exceptional precision. Each tie’s unique pattern and rich texture takes shape, created through a delicate interplay of warp and weft threads.

Following the weaving phase, the fabric undergoes a meticulous visual inspection, ensuring each piece meets the highest standards of quality. Next, it is thermo-fixed at 160°C on a Rameuse machine, enhancing both durability and structure while giving the fabric its signature refined texture.

At the heart of what makes these ties exceptional is their full interlining from tip to tail, ensuring a well-tied knot that holds its shape beautifully. With an interior blend of 40% polyester and 60% cotton, paired with an acetate lining, each tie is designed for comfort, elegance, and long-lasting wear.

Finally, the fabric is expertly cut, lined, and sewn, before receiving a final press and label—marking it as an official symbol of leadership and tradition.

More than a tie, it's a legacy. Crafted with history, worn with pride, and representing the finest in Italian design and golfing tradition - Et voila, our trademarked Captain Golfer and Past Captain Gofer ties are born.
