No, anyone can purchase these awards, no proof of who they are being presented to is required

Thresher & Glenny used to make our Club Ties. Where can we get our club ties made now?
Knight (London) is the Tie Design Department of The Oneholer Limited (formerly Thresher & Glenny), we now hold the jacquards of all club and company ties previously made by Thresher & Glenny.

The Oneholer Limited acquired Thresher & Glennys’ golf business in 2002. The Oneholer Limited now holds the Hole in One Register, which dates back to 1954 and all the Club Tie jacquards previously held by Thresher & Glenny.

The Captain Device is a registered trademark. It comprises a golf club with a golf ball underneath and a capital C.
